Scarves & Shawls |
| Scarves & shawls are a great current fashion accessory that can express your personality and add pizzazz to an outfit. |
I create a variety of scarves using a range of materials, processes and techniques:. |
Knitted scarves include a long and wide style, a medium length and narrow style, and a short keyhole style. Most of the scarves I knit are made from at least 2 different yarns. I love seeking out unusual yarns, and deciding what yarns to combine to create interesting combinations. |
Vintage kimono fabric pieces are used to create unique scarves & shawls. The availability of the vintage fabrics is limited, but I enjoy the challenge of creating a striking combination of fabric pieces. |
Faux chenille scarves are made from rayon fabrics that ravel just enough after machine washing and drying to create a chenille-like effect. They are delightfully soft. |
Nuno scarves are created by felting colorful wool roving into a hand dyed silk scarf base. Each scarf is unique. |
Silk collage scarves are created using a film that dissolves in water. The film serves as the base and top layer of the three-layer sandwich. The filling is composed of bits of silk fabrics and yarns. |

The web site images of my scarves provide you with an idea of the styles and varieties of scarves I create. I have more scarves in my inventory than I can show you on my web site. If you are interested in a particular style, please send me an e mail message and I can let you know exactly what is available in the current inventory. Five dollars needs to be added to the scarf price to cover the cost of postage. |
