Artist Statement:  A workshop in 1997 with quilt artist, Nancy Crow, inspired me to use improvisational processes to create contemporary quilts. This was quite a stretch for me, as I am more comfortable with precise straight lines and angles, and intersections that match. I love to work with bright colors and strong value contrasts. Contemporary approaches to quilt making and working with fabric inspire me. The fabric resources seem unlimited. My “stash” continues to grow as the ideas for future projects swirl in my head.
